I designed an interactive prototype of a collaborative brainstorming app on Figma. I also developed it using Vue.js.
In the previous article, I explained how I created an identity, a design
system and a promotional website for Oksa. What was left to do was... Well... The app.
Based on the market studies and the user personas that Asko made, I first assembled a requirements
specification document to define precisely what needed to be done. Then I worked on a weekly sprint
basis to define the user flow, draft the wireframes, and turn them into a
live, fully clickable prototype on Figma.
Once this was done, it was time to get to the development phase. Jore joined the team as a backend developer (and now as the CTO), while I was taking care of the UI development. I worked as a front-end developer until the first beta release of the app, creating the main interfaces and functionalities under Jore's supervision. I now focus mainly on the design side of the project and design additional features for the app. Our stack includes vue.js and nuxt.js, and is hosted on AWS. Oksa.io can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
